Abide In Me

Practice My presence
I will give you wisdom
Everything comes from knowing Me
Everything comes from abiding in Me

I want you to trust Me so deeply
that you are able to see the beauty in the storm
My power in the midst of the giants

I want you to trust Me
I want you to fear Me so deeply
that when trial or calamity strikes
your first thought is
"Lord, I adore You"
not
"what are You doing?!"

I want you to trust Me so completely
that your vision is clear
not based on what you see
but Who I am

I want you to be so much a part of Me
that we cannot be separated

Ask yourself
do you trust that whatever comes your way today
I have planned long ago?

Be excited for what I have in store for you today

Everyone who comes across your path today
has been placed there by Me
Be ready for Me to use you in their lives
Be ready for Me to use them in yours
I am the one doing the work in you
I make you holy
I rend you fruitful

I want you to learn to live in the spiritual realm
You belong to My kingdom
I am trustworthy

I want your body as a sacrifice
a living and Holy sacrifice
Worship Me in body, soul and mind
I will and even now am
transforming you
by changing the way you think
My will for you is good

Trust Me TODAY

Trust Me Today
Be thankful for the thorns and thistles
I use them in your life
I want nothing to take My place
as God in your life
I am preparing you to do My will
I want you to be prepared
I want to develop in you
a listening heart
I want your faith to grow stronger
I want you to be fully convinced
that I am able to do
what I have promised
I want you to believe
I am who I say I am
I want you to be
completely under My control
I want you to know My heart
Surrender yourself to Me
I want complete dependence
If I, the Son
depended on the Father
so that I did nothing on My own
How much more should you
Everything should be brought before Me
Every plan
every deed
every thought
should be brought before Me
Seek My wisdom
Walk with Me

Be Full of ME

Truth
Righteousness
Peace
Faith
Salvation
These are more than words
I will teach you to apply them
for you must learn to make them
part of your breathing
Be in continuous communication
with Me
I don't want you to merely survive
I want you to thrive
The strength I give you
is strength that endures
the unendurable
and spills over into joy
I want you to be full of Me
so you will know Me more
Make everything you do
an act of worship to Me
When you worship Me
you are in tune with My will
Give Me thanks
in every situation
Do not complain
Know Me deeper
Know Me fuller
by becoming like Me in humility
Do not refuse to trust Me
Stop seeing the list
Instead
see opportunities to show Me your love
I will fill you with power from heaven
Stop and listen for My guidance

Our Dance

Obedience from the heart
will fulfill you
and bring Me glory
Be alert to My ways
Our dance is your life
It is how you will learn
to love Me deeper
than ever before
Hold on to Me
for dear life
Do not question what I am doing
Following Me
will not harm you
I take no pleasure
in making life hard
I take no pleasure
in throwing roadblocks in the way
They all have meaning
they all have purpose behind them
Everything I do has a reason
Trust Me
I have created this day
It is not a chance occurrence
You must develop
such a listening ear
that My Spirit
could speak to you
anywhere
about anything
I love you
Make yourself at home
in My love
Your task is
to single-mindedly serve Me
Remember the seriousness of who I am
This is not a game
It is a life and death fight
to the finish
against the devil
and all his angels
You must be  prepared
You cannot handle it on your own
This is why you must walk in My Spirit.

Listen to Me

Listen to Me
I, the Holy Spirit
am the music
I am the dance
I am connected with Christ and the Father
I am the One who lives in you
Train your heart and mind
to listen to Me
By My power
I will make you strong
Seek My Kingdom above all else
Don't try to figure it out
just dance with Me
Allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in you completely
He knows how to love Me
He knows how to be faithful
He must lead and guide you
In order to know My voice
and know the music
you must purpose in your heart
to meet with Me first
I must have no competition
When I wake you up
you must rise
Your first waking hours
must be Mine alone
I desire for you to grasp
how wide
how long
how high
and how deep
My love for you is
Everything you do
needs to be done for Me
You must think of everything
every task
as part of our dance
I want My will to be your will
I want you to see
how I see
It is only when you are with Me
that you discover who you truly are

Long for Me
Relax in My presence
Enjoy Me
Allow Me to do the work
Stop striving
I give
You just need to receive
When you doubt My work in you
and
around you in other people
you doubt My character
Trust Me to train you
You and I have our own song
Memorize My word
and in the darkest moments
you will be able to sing
and dance with Me
in the secret places
Walk with Me
not ahead
not behind
Allow Me to train your heart
to see the invisible
The things that stumble you
come from within
they are the attitudes of the heart
Allow Me full access to your heart
I will remove the heart issues
But
It will be in My timing

Alive: 5 Minute Friday

Today is a special day for me
It marks the day I truly became alive
There is a difference
Being alive physically
And being alive spiritually
1969 I became alive physically
1977 When I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior
I became alive spiritually
It was on "Good Friday"
All those years ago
I accepted the truth of what He did on the cross
For me
Because of love
His death
His resurrection
His payment
His ransom
For me
I am alive
Forever
Never to be separated from Him
Eternally alive
When death claims this outward shell
I will be with Him in glory
Not because of me
Not because of anything I have done
Because of Him
Because of all He has done
I am alive
Forevermore
